Tandoori Masala Chicken with Vegetable Fried Rice

Tandoori Masala Chicken Ingredients:

 1. Chicken Breast or Thighs (no skin) – Small pieces

2. Yogurt (Hung curd)- 1/4 Cup

3. All spices (Gharam Masala Powder) – 1/2 Tsp

4. Curry Leave – few

5. Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp

6. Garlic & Ginger Paste – 1 Tsp

7. Turmeric – 1/2 Tsp

8. Paprika (sweet or hot) – 1/2 Tsp

9. Lemon Juice – 1 Tsp

10. Red Food Color (optional)

11. Salt

12. Oil – 1 Tsp

 

Prep & Marinate the Tandoori Masala Chicken Method:

 1. In a large bowl add all the above Tandoori Chicken Ingredients and marinate.

2. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and set aside in room temperature or refrigerator for 2 hours

3. You can either Grill the marinade chicken on charcoal, on gas/electric stove or in an Oven. Its your choice on how to prepare the chicken.

 

Bake Chicken in Oven:

1. Spread the Chicken in a baking tray or rack.

2. Place the baking tray or rack in the Oven and preheat it for 220C/450F.

3. Check the Chicken after 25 mins. And broil the Chicken for another 5 to 10 mins.

 

Fry Chicken in Gas Stove:

1. Heat the non stick pan and add oil.

2. Place the Chicken in the non stick pan.

3. Fry both sides until color and aroma appears.

4. Place the Mouthwatering Delicious Tandoori Masala Chicken in the Dish.

Boil Rice Ingredients:

1. Basmati Rice – 3 Cups

2. Salt – according to taste

3. Vinegar – 2 Tbsp

4. Cooking Oil – 1 spoon

 

Boil Rice Method:

1. In a pot Boil water and add clean and washed Rice, Salt, Vinegar and Oil.

2. Once the Rice is cooked 1/2 consistency then drain water and place the rice in a plate. (Option – You can use already cooked rice too).

 

Stir- Fried Vegetable Ingredients:

1. Frozen Mixed Vegetables (Green peas, Corn & Carrots) – 1 cup

2. Spring Onion – Chopped 1/4 Cup

3. Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 Tsp

4. Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 Tsp

5. Green Chilli Sauce – 1 Tsp

6. Light Soya Sauce – 1 Tbsp

7. Salt – according to taste

8. Vegetable Oil -1/4 Cup

 

Stir Fried Vegetable Method:

1. In non-stick pan add oil, Ginger-garlic paste and saute until aroma arise.

2. Add all Stir-Fried Vegetable and spices in pan.

3. Stir the ingredients after some time.

Mix Rice & Stir Fried Vegetable Method:

1. Take another big pot and heat oil for a while.

2. Add boiled rice and all the stir- fried vegetables to the pot. Mix well.

3. Add all the sauces and keep mixing the ingredients until all sauces dry out.

Now the Stir- Fried Vegetable Rice is ready to serve.

Tips / Notes:

1. Remember you can add any vegetables according to taste and preference to the Dish. However, Carrots, Green Peas & Corn are the main vegetables to any Fried Rice.

Side Note: Spring Onions, Baby Spinach & Capsicum are great addition to your delicious and tasteful Tandoori Masala Chicken with Vegetable Fried Rice!

2. If you want to plan meal for the future and save money & hardwork for the future always remember to increase the amount of your ingredients. This way you can save and freeze the meal for the future.

3. If you don’t have a frying pan, you can always preheat your Chicken in an oven or use a Rice cooker for Rice. A rice cooker indeed makes the process easy and saves time. However, remember if you have time and want your meal to be attractive and fancy than you can add more ingredients according to taste and preference.

4. If you want to give the Tandoori Masala Chicken with Vegetable Fried Rice a yummy texture and crunch, garnish spring onions on top or your favorite topping of choice. Remember to Serve Hot!

5. Avoid to overcook the Rice, otherwise the Rice can be sticky and extra mushy.
