Garam Masala Chicken Curry
Garam Masala Chicken Curry Ingredients:
- Ghee or Oil
- Boneless, Skinless, clean/washed Chicken pieces
- Large Onion
- Ginger Garlic Paste
- Turmeric – 1 tbsp
- Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala -2 tsp
- Cayenne Powder – pinch
- Salt – as per your taste
- Chopped Tomatoes – 4 tbsp
- Coconut Powder – as per your taste
- Water – 1/4 cup if required
- Garnish with Cherry Tomatoes – as needed
Marination:
In a large bowl, add Chicken pieces and ingredients (4-8). Once chicken is marinated (coated) with spices, add chopped tomatoes and coconut powder. Mix them well. Once the chicken becomes tender and appears thick then cover and place it aside for 15 mins. If time allows, place marinated bowl over night.
METHOD:
- In a large non-stick pan add chopped onions, oil. Fry the onion until the color turn brown.
- Now add Marinated Chicken. Stir the ingredients well. Fry chicken until brown each side.
- Chicken should be cooked and if needed pour water. When the sauce seems to be thick and bubbling plus fragrant arises then Chicken is ready!
- Add Cherry Tomatoes into the Chicken and allow them to cook for another 5 mins.

- Cinnamon
- Cloves
- Ginger
- Nutmeg
