Seviyan Zarda- Sweet vermicelli noodles- Recipe

Ingredients:
Thick seviyan (vermicelli noodles)- 1 pack
Water- 2 cups
Sugar- to taste
Pistachios- 4 tbsp
Almonds- 4 tbsp
Cardamom- 6
Saffron or orange color- pinch
Kewra- 1 tbsp
Golden raisins- 4 tbsp
Ghee/unsalted butter- 1/4 cup
Method:

In a deep frying pan, combine ghee/unsalted butter, cardamom, seviyan and stir on high flame till the seviyan are little brown.

Add sugar and golden raisins and stir for 5 minutes. After pour water, saffron or orange color and cook till the seviyan are dry/tender. Sprinkle with kewra.

Dish out and garnish with pistachios, almonds, and serve hot or refrigerate the seviyan ka zarda as desired. If you ask me it tastes yummyyy either ways..
