Peshawari Karahi Fry Mutton


Mutton- 1/2 kg
Garlic- 5 cloves
Ginger, thin sliced- t tbsp
Tomato- 4 (chopped)
Yogurt- 1/4 cup
Green Chilli- 6 (chopped)
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Nutmeg and mace powder-1 tsp
Red crushed chilli- 1 tbsp
Salt- to taste
Whole Garam Masala- 1tbsp
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Olive Oil/ghee- 1/4 cup



  1. In a suitable cooking pan, add: oil, mutton, garlic, ginger and fry until mutton’s color changes to white.
  2. When the water dry’s, add: yogurt, whole garam masala, red crushed chilli, turmeric, salt, tomatoes, nutmeg and mace powder, green chilli; mix well and cook till tomatoes soften and meat becomes tender.
  3. Dish-out and garnish with green chilli, chopped coriander, ginger thin slices. Decor with lemon and cucumber slices… and serve with naan…and Enjoy..:D
