Mughlai Chapli Kabab

Ingredients:

Minced Beef- 2 lbs
Onion, chopped- 1/4 cup
Tomatoes, chopped- 1/4 cup
Garlic and Ginger paste- 2 tbsp
Egg- 1
Green chilli, chopped- 2 tbsp
Coriander, chopped- 3 tbsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Whole dry coriander- 1 tbsp (Roasted and chopped)
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp (Roasted and chopped)
Whole dry red chilli- 4 (Roasted and chopped)
Carom seeds (ajwan)- a pinch (Roasted and chopped)
Coconut powder (Rainbow- color)- 1/4 cup
Almonds, Pistachios, Cashew nuts (finely chopped)- 1/4 cup
Cardamom- 10 pieces
Salt- as per required
Lemon juice- 2 tbsp
Oil- for frying

Method:

  1. In a suitable bowl, Combine: Beef, onion, tomatoes, garlic and ginger paste, egg, green chilli, coriander, red chilli powder, whole dry coriander, cumin seeds, whole dry red chilli, carom seeds, coconut powder, Almonds, pistachios, cashew nuts, cardamom, lemon juice, salt. Marinate for 2 hours.
  2. Shape the meat mixture into oval long balls. and fry them into a non-stick pan until each side is slightly golden brown, and cooked.
  3. Garnish with diced bell pepper, onion rings, chopped coriander, and sliced tomatoes…and don’t forget to ENJOY… :)
