Gramflour fritters in yogurt based gravy with rice balls- Karhi

Ingredients
Yogurt- 2cups
Gram flour (chanay ka aata)- 3 tbsp
Water- 3 cups
Turmeric powder (haldi) – 1 tsp
Red chili powder- 1tsp
Curry leaves(karhi patta)- 8
Garlic- 5 cloves
Ginger (chopped)- 1 tbsp
Cardamom – 5
Whole gram masala- 1tbsp

Method for Pakora
Gram flour(chanay ka aata)- 1 cup heaped
Onion – 1 cup(sliced)
Coriander leaves- (hara dhania) – 1/4 cup
Green chilies (chopped)- 1 tbsp
Salt- as required
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Red pepper(crushed)- 1/2 tsp
Coriander seeds(crushed)-1 tsp
Baking soda- pinch
Water- as required
Oil – for deep frying
 
 
Method for Baghaar
Onion- 1cup
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Curry leaves- 7
Coriander leaves- (hara dhania) – 1/4 cup
Green chilies (chopped)- 1tbsp
Ginger- 1tbsp
Whole dry coriander- 1 tbsp (Roasted and chopped)
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp (Roasted and chopped)
Whole dry red chilli- 4 (Roasted and chopped)
Carom seeds (ajwan)- a pinch (Roasted and chopped)
