A Chickpea Fudge (Besan-Ki-Barfi)

Ingredients:
Besan Flour (Gram Flour)- 1 cups
Semolina (Suji)- 1/4 cup
Sugar- 1 cup (as per taste)
Water- 1 cup
Ghee/Butter- 1/2 cup
Cardamom seeds- 1 tsp
Saffron- a pinch
Nuts (Almonds. Pistachios, Coconut flakes)- 1/2 cup
Method:

In a microwavable bowl, add: besan flour, butter/ghee and microwave them for two minutes.

Mix the contents and add in cardamom seeds, semolina, saffron. Microwave for six minutes, and in each two minute interval mix the contents well (rub against palms).

Add in 1/4 cup of nuts and sugar; Microwave it for 4 minutes, and in each two minute interval mix the contents well.

Pour in water, mix and microwave it again for two minutes.

The color of the chickpea fudge depends on your taste.

For a darker color (which I did) keep on microwaving the sweet (giving a interval of two minute pause to mix the contents well).

Dish-out on a pan sprayed dish. Shape your sweet by pressing with a spatula and garnish with your remaining nuts on top.

Place it aside to cool, and cut into fudge size pieces… Enjoy…:)
