Batura- Puffed Bread-Recipe

Ingredients:
Dry yeast- ¼ tsp
All purpose flour maida- 4 cups
Oil- 2 tbsp
Fruit salt- 1 tsp
Baking soda- ¾
Semolina (sooji rava)- ¼ cup
Sugar – 1 tsp
Yougourt (sour) – 2 tbsp
Water or milk 2 cup-
Oil or ghee – for frying
Ingredients:
- In a suitable pan mix all dry ingridents add: maida, semolina, baking soda salt and sugar.
- Add yogurt and little water until a soft smooth dough arises.
- Cover with wet napkin at least 2 hours in hot place (in the oven)
- In a deep fry pan heat the oil
- Meanwhile divide the dough into equal portion roll them in to oval shape
- Now drop them gently into hot oil. Pour Oil on top side of Bhatura and press Bhatura this will make Bhatura puff.
- Fry until it gets golden brown on both sides and take it out on napkin plate.
- Serve with Cholay or your favorite Salan (or Aloo Salan).
