Rohu Fish & Zucchini Curry (Machli aur Tauri ka Sabzi (Gravy)) Ingredients:

 

I already posted the ingredients for Rohu Fish fried in Veg Section. I am still adding the Ingredients for your convenience.

 

Rohu Fish Ingredients:

1. Rohu Fish (I Cleaned & Washed Rohu Fish with Salt & Turmeric Powder) – 6 pieces

2. All Purpose Flour – 3 Spoon

3. Corn Flour – 1 Spoon

4. Ginger Garlic Paste

5. Turmeric Powder – 1/2 Tsp

 6. Chilli Powder – 1/2 Tsp

7. Lemon Juice

8. Salt – as per taste

9. Water – little bit

10. Oil For Frying

 

Rohu Fish Method:

1. In large Bowl add all the ingredients 2-9. Mix well.

2. Marinate Rohu fish and Mix carefully.

3. Place aside for 1 -2 hours. (In Summer you can refrigerate)

4. In non suitable pan add oil. Once oil is heated drop spicy marinated Rohu Fish one by one.

5. Fry till fish turns golden and crunchy (Stir occasionally).

6. Place the Fish in a paper towel to drain excess oil.

7. Now Rohu Fish is waiting to go in Vegetables.

Zucchini / Ridge Gourd Curry (Tauri Sabzi) Ingredients:

1. Zucchini / Ridge Gourd (Washed, Peeled & Chopped Tauri) – 4

2. Onion – 1

3. Chopped Tomatoes – 2

4. Ginger Garlic Crush – 1 spoon

5. Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp

6. Turmeric – 1 Tsp

7. Coriander Powder – 1 Tbsp

8. Cooking Oil

9. Green Leaves – Garnishing

Zucchini /Ridge Gourd Curry (Tauri Sabzi) Method:

1. In suitable pan add oil, once heated add Chopped Onions. Fry till Golden brown.

2. Add Zucchini and Ingredients 3-7. Mix well. Let them cook in low flame

3. Try to cook the Sabzi in its own water, as Tauri and Tomatoes contain a lot of water. Thus, it will cook in its own juices. However, if the Sazi sticks on pan than you can add little bit of water.

3. When the aroma arises it means the Tauri Sabzi is ready to be served!

 

* If Desired, add 1 Tsp of Lemon Juice and Garam Masala to enhance the taste and give it an aromatic flavor.

Dishout the Delicious Zucchini Ridge Gourd Curry (Tauri ka Sabzi (Gravy)) & Decorate with Fried Rohu Fish (Machli) & Greens including Cilantro, Baby Spinach etc.

 

The Nutritious Fish & Zucchini / Ridge Gourd Curry (Machli aur Tauri ka Sabzi (Gravy)) is best served with Steamed White Rice.

Notes / Tips:

1. Fish & Zucchini Curry (Machli aur Tauri ka Sabzi (Gravy)) is a healthy Dish full of Nutrition.

2. Ridge Gourd (Tauri) is a dark green vegetable which is pleasing to the eye. Remember to choose a Tauri that is green and fresh in appearance not soft and watery. Since when you peel the Ridge Gourd it should be white, spongy and fresh from inside.

3. Rohu Fish tastes heavenly when it hits your taste bud. Great source of Omega-3 fatty food, it provides energy to the brain, heart and joint. Remember while frying the fish, if you are health conscious use Kitchen Towel to drain excess oil. Rohu Fish is healthy and solid meal to provide general well-being to the body.
