Ingredients

  • Whole chicken legs, skinless- 10
  • Garlic and Ginger paste- 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt- 1/4 cup
  • Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
  • Spices Mixture (Garam Masala)- 1 tbsp
  • Ground nutmeg- 1/4 tsp
  • Whole dry coriander- 1 tbsp (Roasted and chopped)
  • Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp (Roasted and chopped)
  • Whole dry red chilli- 4 (Roasted and chopped)
  • Carom seeds (ajwan)- a pinch (Roasted and chopped)
  • Salt- as per required
  • Lemon juice- 2 tbsp

     

 

Directions

  1.  With the help of a knife, prick the whole chicken legs.
  2. In a suitable bowl, Combine the above ingredients to the whole chicken legs. Marinade the whole chicken legs for at least 3 hours (or overnight).
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Bake the covered chicken for 45 to 50 minutes. (Check if the baking dish has any excess water- if yes then remove the water and bake it again for 10 minutes or until its dry and tender.)
  4. Place the whole chicken legs on broil, uncovered; until crispy golden-ish brown.
  5. Dish-out and garnish the legs with foil (to create a restaurant look), and don’t forget to… ENJOY, :)))))
